The brothers who lived there were then known as The White Canons. Following a massive three-year restoration project visitors can now explore the most ancient and hallowed parts of the building where some stunning finds have been unearthed.
Opened in 2006, Occombe farm offers a whole new Devon food and farming experience for all the family. View Ruby Red cows, pigs, sheep grazing in the fields and hens and ducks in the orchard.

South Devon Railway
If you enjoy travelling by steam train then you can also visit the South Devon Railway, which is a seven mile steam railway running between Buckfasteligh and Totnes. At Buckfastleigh, there is a play area, gardens, museum, workshop and cafe.
